Interzum 2017 is one of the biggest exhibitions for furniture production and interior design, as well as engineered wood products. Around 1.732 companies from 60 different countries participated in this exhibition and more than 69.000 visitors have visited the 187.000m2 area for Interzum 2017.
“Indonesia’s Country Pavilion” is located in Hall 4.2 booth E 061 and occupied an area of 54 m2. It is a joined program by the Directorate General of National Export Development (DG PEN) and Import Promotion Desk (IPD) of Germany. The pavilion is shared by six companies i.a. PT. Abioso Batara Alba (bare core, plywood, LVL, LVL furniture); PT. Pinako Rotari Permai (outdoor furniture, decking, garden tile, bare core, blockboard, plywood); PT. Rama Gombong (bare core, block board, plywood, door core, three layer board, LVL, furniture); PT. Sumatera Timberindo Industry (engineered timber doors, door frame sets, balcony doors); PT. Sumber Mas Indah Plywood (plywood panels for housing, boats, vehicles, instruments, furniture, LVL/LVB, doors, moldings, wood pellets); and PT. Tanjung Timberindo Industry (moldings, engineered products).
During the exhibition, the 6 participants which were supported by the Ministry of Trade acquired a prospective order amounting to about US$ 22.555.600 and were visited by around 404 visitors within 4 days of the exhibition. Visitors came from different countries such as Belgium, United Arab Emirates, China, Spain, Austria, Palestine, Poland, US, Hungary, India, Mexico, Jordan, Turkey, Germany, Colombia, Dubai, Japan, Hong Kong, Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Australia, Chile, Singapore, Portugal, Malaysia, India, Canada, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Czech Republic, Russia, Denmark, Sweden and Greece.
During the exhibition, precisely on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017, Indonesian Trade Promotion Center Hamburg (ITPC Hamburg), Trade Attaché of Berlin, as well as the Director of Export of Agricultural and Forestry Product, Ministry of Trade, visited a loyal buyer of outdoor furniture product from Germany, Teak 24 GmbH. The company is located at Werner-von-Siemens-Straße 11, 46485 Wesel, Germany. Executive Director of Teak 24 GmbH, Mr. Johannes Hövelmann, welcomed the delegates directly.
Furthermore on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017, at 18.00 PM a business matching dinner sponsored by the General Consulate of Republic Indonesia for Frankfurt was held and was opened by the Consul General herself.
