Indonesia as a partner country of the Hannover Messe 2023 exhibition.

Hannover Messe, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for industrial technology, is an annual industrial trade fair held in Hannover, Germany on 17 until 21 April 2023. The fair brings together a wide range of industries, including automation, robotics, energy, and digitalization, among others. The Hannover Messe features over 5,000 exhibitors from over 75 countries and attracts around 200,000 visitors from around the world. It provides a platform for businesses to showcase their latest technologies and innovations, exchange ideas, and network with other industry professionals. The event also includes a variety of forums, seminars, and workshops, where experts from various fields share their knowledge and insights on current and future trends in industry. The fair is a valuable opportunity for businesses and individuals in the industrial sector to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and to connect with others in the field.

Indonesia becomes the first country in ASEAN to be the official Panter Country of Hannover Messe three times

Being a partner country at Hannover Messe is a great opportunity to help achieve Indonesia’s vision of being among the top 10 economically strongest countries in the world by 2030. This goal is through the development of seven priority sectors, namely the food and beverage industry, textiles and apparel, automotive, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Indonesia will highlight the latest technological advances and investment potential in industrial technology, through the organisation of Making Indonesia 4.0-related events, business summits and conferences at the Indonesian Pavilion on the Hannover Messe Fairground. The exhibition area covers roughly 3000 m2, with more than 150 co-exhibitors representing each sub-theme, including Engineered Parts and Solutions, Future Hub, Sustainability and Energy Transition, Global Business and Markets, Compressed Air and Vacuum, Digital Ecosystems, Drive Technology and Automation, and Motion and Drives. Companies such as Mayora, PLN, Pertamina will be present at Hannover Messe, Evogaia which is one of the co-exhibitors of ITPC Hamburg in Fruit Logistica will also participate in Hannover Messe. In addition, Indonesia will also show the progress that has been achieved in the development of Industrial Estates and Special Economic Zones as well as the development of the National Capital (IKN).

By promoting the Pinisi sail logo and the tagline “Infinite Journey”, is expected to inspire and encourage participants to embrace unlimited opportunities. “Indonesia is a country with infinite potential, starting from nature, talent, and capabilities in the industrial revolution 4.0. The tagline reflects the spirit of optimism and the potential of a vast future, and illustrates Indonesia’s journey towards an unlimited future,” said the Director General of Industrial Resilience, Region, and International Industrial Access, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Eko S.A Cahyanto at the Press Preview event in Hannover, Germany, Wednesday (15/2) local time.

Indonesia’s participation as Official Partner Country of Hannover Messe 2023 is important as a branding event for Indonesia. In addition, Indonesia’s participation in this exhibition encourages the improvement of Indonesia’s manufacturing capabilities and digital infrastructure development. Furthermore, it can further expand and establish new partnerships related to Industry 4.0.
