Seeing the success of competing countries such as China, India, Mexico and Morocco, which succeeded in getting into the supply chain for the production of Airbus aircraft, became the driving force for Indonesia to become part of the supply chain. It is hoped that Indonesia can become the main partner for Airbus in the supply of aircraft components and engineering technology for Airbus, furthermore to also establish a research center in Indonesia.
