Responding to the invitation to a webinar organized by the Director General of National Export Development (Ministry of Trade) and the Association of Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs (Gabungan Pengusaha Makanan dan Minuman – GAPMMI) on June 15th, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic carries a significant impact on national and global economic and trade activities. To anticipate a greater impact on national trade, the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia has developed a new breakthrough strategy, which is to formulate policies in order to meet the needs of raw materials, identify superior products, identify potential markets and export barriers, and improve export facilitation and the role of trade representatives.

The topic for discussion was “Trade Remedy in the Pandemic Period: Opportunities and Challenges”. This webinar was held on June 8th, 2020 and was headed by the Expert Staff of the Minister of Trade in Market Security.

The aim of the webinar is to provide an overview and answer questions related to the impact of COVID-19 on business activities in Germany, steps taken by the German government in supporting the economy and maintaining supply chains, as well as current conditions and predictions of the future situation in the trade sector and investment.
