The Hannover Messe 2019 exhibition is held on the 1st of April and went on until 5th of April 2019. Hannover Messe 2019 is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology. The main theme this year is “Integrated Industry – Industrial Intelligence”, which serves as a global platform for digital transformation of production and energy systems. The fair is attended by 6,500 exhibitors and visited by more than 220,000 visitors. One of the agenda in attending this fair is the handover of the country partner status from Sweden (currently) to Indonesia in 2020. The implementation of this status was carried out by Mr. Thomas Trikasih Lembong, Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) as the Indonesian representative and by Ms. Camilla Mellander, Deputy Director-General and Head of Department for Trade Promotion, Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, as the Swedish representative. Related agencies and representatives from BKPM, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian Embassy in Berlin, along with the Trade Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin, Industry Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Brussels and ITPC Hamburg were present to witness the handover.
