As \nthe host, the Federal Republic of Germany emphasized the primary theme \nof \u201cShaping an interconnected world&#8221;. It is divided into 3 main \nobjectives i.a. <em>building resilience, improving sustainability, and assuming responsibility.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President of Republic Indonesia, Joko Widodo<em>, <\/em>who\n was one of the speakers in the first session (leader\u2019s Retreat), \nrevealed key points about the achievement of Indonesia to overcome \nterrorism by implementing a program to reduce radicalism. In the second \nsession, he expressed two points; firstly: sustainable development, \nclimate change and resiliency of energy; secondly: growth and \ninternational trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the G20 summit meeting in Hamburg, Mr.\n President also received some request from several partner countries, \nsuch as Australia, Spain, Netherland, USA, Vietnam, and Norway to attend\n bilateral meeting privately. Those meetings were expected to enhance \nthe intensity of cooperation in sectors economy, social, and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides\n meeting with other partner countries, the President of Republic \nIndonesia together with Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Head of \nInvestment Coordinating Board, Secretary of Cabinet, Ambassador \nIndonesia for Berlin, General Consulate Indonesia for Hamburg and \nGeneral Consulate Indonesia for Frankfurt also attended business \nmeetings with several CEOs of companies and business associations i.a. \nSiemens, BMW, Ferrostaal, L\u2019oreal and EKONID. At the same time, the Head\n of Investment Coordinating Board witnessed the signing of Memorandum of\n Understanding (MoU) between Indonesian Railways Company (PT. KAI) and \nSiemens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the President departed from Hamburg, the Honorary \nConsul of Republic Indonesia for Germany, Dr. Dieter Murmann; the \nHonorary Consul of Republic Indonesia in Kiel, Mr. Wolfgang K\u00f6hne; the \nHonorary Consul of Republic Indonesia in Bremen, Dr. Yorck Otto; and the\n Honorary Consul of Republic Indonesia in M\u00fcnchen gathered together to \nsay their farewells. Furthermore, Mr. President also took pictures \ntogether with the entire committee from The Embassy of Indonesia in \nBerlin, General Consulate Indonesia for Hamburg, General Consulate \nIndonesia for Frankfurt and Indonesian Trade Promotion Center of Hamburg\n (ITPC Hamburg).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>G20 summit in 2017 was held in Hamburg from July 7th-8th, 2017.
