At the IMM 2017, around 1.600 companies from 50 \ndifferent countries have participated in the exhibition and it is \nvisited by more than 130,000 visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this event &#8220;Indonesia \nFurniture Pavilion&#8221;, with an area of 595m2 located at Hall 3.1 at \nKoelnmesse, presented 26 companies which showed off their high quality \nand competitive product such as wooden furniture, rattan furniture, \nhandicraft, etc. All the companies were coordinated by HIMKI (Indonesian\n Furniture and Handicraft Association)&nbsp;and came from furniture \nmanufacturing centers in Indonesia: Cirebon, Semarang. Jepara, \nYogyakarta, and Solo. Alongside these companies, representative of IFEX \n2017 (Furniture Exhibition in Indonesia) also promoted IFEX 2017. IFEX \n2017 (Indonesia International Furniture) is an exhibition which presents\n not only high quality and unique furniture but also textile goods, home\n accessories, interior d\u00e9cor materials, panel furniture, paintings and \nframes, parts and components, wall covering and other similar products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During\n the exhibition, a business gathering was also held on Tuesday evening, \nJanuary 17th, 2017 at the Hilton Hotel Cologne. This Business gathering \nwas facilitated and opened by the Consul General of the Consulate \nGeneral in Frankfurt and was attended by ITPC Hamburg, Trade Attach\u00e9 in \nBerlin, international potential buyers, exhibitors and other invitees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the exhibition <em>IMM 2017<\/em>,\n the 26 exhibitors acquired a prospective order of 6.059.522 USD from \nbuyers from 43 different countries such as Germany, UK, Belgium, Brazil,\n Chile, China, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Iran, \nIreland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Macedonia, Montenegro,\n Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, \nSpain, Switzerland, Tahiti, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore,\n the most attractive products for the visitors were wooden furniture, \nwooden furniture combined with rattan, and also furniture accessories \nproducts, art deco, home d\u00e9cor, iron and synthetic furniture, iron \nrattan furniture and rattan synthetic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To support Indonesian entrepreneurs in penetrating the furniture market, ITPC Hamburg attended the International Furniture Show, IMM 2017 in Cologne-Germany.
