ICONIC is a conference of Indonesian students. The conference at <em>ICONIC 2016 <\/em>emphasized\n specific theme: \u201cThe rising of the Industry: Business Synergy \nOptimization, Governance, and Education\u201d with subtheme economy and \ntrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indonesian Trade Promotion Center in Hamburg (ITPC Hamburg)\n has participated at this event, which is held by the Indonesian Student\n Association in Germany (PPI Germany), in order to promote the idea of \nenhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia on a global level, \nparticularly in sector industry and trade. Another purpose of this event\n is to build a network among young entrepreneurs, academicians, and \npublic decision maker and a platform to share ideas towards developing \nand challenging Indonesia\u2019s Industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ambassador of Republic Indonesia for Germany, Dr. Ing.Fauzi Bowo welcomed the conference together with the\n General Consul of Republic Indonesia for Hamburg, Sylvia Arifin. In his\n speech, Dr. Ing.Fauzi Bowo emphasized that Indonesia has a \ncompetitiveness in terms of geography and demography and therefore \nshould develop its human resource, thus if developed Indonesia would be \nhighly competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Materials were presented by respective \nspeakers i.a. Prof. Dr. B. J Habibie, Dr. BambangSetiadi (Head of \nNational Research Council), Ir.
